Welcome to inkl: the best news app in the world, and the last one you’ll ever download. Find out how we’ve changed the way people read news in 210 countries – start your free 30-day membership trial today. Here’s how an inkl membership will change your news-reading for good. NO ADS No one likes ads. So inkl members will never see them. NO PAYWALLS No one likes paywalls. So we’ve worked with publishers to remove those for inkl members, too. DIVE DEEPER No one likes bias. So we show you multiple perspectives on each story. YOUR PRIVACY IS OUR PRIORITY No one likes stalkers. So we make sure no one else can see what you read. NOT WAITING TO READ No one likes waiting. So articles on inkl load in the blink of an eye. Seriously, try it out! GOOD NEWS Everyone needs a dose of good news. So we curate a playlist of positive stories for you to start your day with. SERENDIPITY Everyone likes discovering new things. inkl’s curated ‘Our Picks’ section helps you discover the weird and wonderful stories beyond your news bubble. PERSONALISATION Whether you like flying cars or fair trade, ‘My Topics’ keeps you across the stories that matter most to you. STELLAR SERVICE Everyone likes to be treated well. So we treat you the way we like to be treated. READ OFFLINE Everyone needs a break. So you can read inkl news from space. Or from your lead-lined toilet. You might be wondering how all of this is possible... inkl brings the most reliable newsrooms on the planet into one place. We work with publishers who have a strong record of breaking the biggest stories, correcting their mistakes, and employing trained, conscientious journalists. The stories you see on inkl aren't there to trick you into seeing more ads. We show members the breaking stories that the world’s top editors deem newsworthy. That’s depth and experience that sets us apart from the riff-raff. We know that you have unread emails in your inbox, unused apps on your phone and a social media feed riddled with baby photos and celebrity news. It’s a fast-paced, fragmented, competitive and sometimes duplicitous news environment. That's why we made inkl – to help you save time and make sense of it all. Sounds good, but why? Because the world’s most-trusted news is no longer free. You either pay with your clicks or your data – especially if you read it via social media. Free news is devolving into clickbait, fraud, and celebrity drivel. When you read free news, you pay with your clicks and data. Frankly, it’s a waste of your time – and it obscures important news about what's really happening! That’s why we created a platform where paying members can choose from over 45 of the world’s most-trusted newsrooms. We want the best journalism to thrive. Now what? Just download the app and see if you like it. Best of all, you can try an inkl membership trial completely free for a month. After your free membership trial, you can choose a membership option that suits you best. If you don't, you’ll still be able to read inkl news headlines, as well as stories from inkl’s paywall-free publishers. Follow us on Twitter @inkl or at for additional news stories, or visit for more on payment and membership options. For terms and conditions please visit:

I'm in the trial period right now but I think I might end up actually paying money for this application, it's so refreshing to know that the news sources are carefully researched. And no ads!
  • Great News App.

Good news reading app. Kind of like the Netflix of newspapers. I would highly recommend this app to anyone who wants to read a wide variety of news to get a better more rounded view of the world we live in. The interface is clean and the curated content is relevant. You could also go to the source and read the entire newspaper. To the developers.. well done
  • Great news app!

This was the news app I’ve been wanting! It’s straight forward and easy to use without all the clickbait and random ads littering the page. You can customize what sources you want to receive news from and make your own tags to follow stories that are more topic specific. I’m still in my free trial, but the content and the app are good enough to make me seriously consider buying a subscription. I was a bit deterred by the subscription price per month being $10, in comparison with apps like Reuters and even Apple News, which are free for the most part. But for some new sources like The Washington Post and The Economist you need to have a subscription to their specific periodical to gain access to certain content. I can see how the $10 inkl price could be worth it in that regard. One flat fee per month for access to all those periodicals except WSJ and Barron’s (which i don’t read anyway).
  • best new app i’ve seen in years

it’s fast, easily customizable, and does well with less mainstream topics that both google and apple heap google, oddly) don’t handle well. i looked up tibetan buddhism and not only got near instant articles and news on it, the keywords generated were very on point as well. the apps own picks and sources are many and good. my only request is to be able to add a couple of my choosing, but it’s a quibble. cross platform too. i will be using on both android and ios and will subscribe to show my support starting next month. bravo!

White text on black background. Couldn't read more than a couple of paragraphs in the first article. Had to stop because my eyes went.

    Great news with no nonsense!
  • Almost Perfect

This app has quality news but it's drawback is that if I were to share an article, the person on the other end would have to subscribe to Inkl. Also I am not given the option of opening an article in Safari. Therefore this app is good for private use but is found wanting in sharing information with others.
  • Cannot unsubscribe

    By Miamojo
You can buy an unlimited plan for $15 a month or $10 for 100 articles. It is IMPOSSIBLE to unsubscribe. It's not through Apple, you need to email INKL to unsubscribe and all the email addresses bounce. There is no setting in the app to unsubscribe. Also when on a free plan, most articles are free, a few are premium. Once you upgrade to 100 for $10 a month, you are charged for EVERY article. I got emails daily begging me to subscribe and now that I subscribed, all forms of contact have disappeared. Free is fine, do not upgrade.

Forget the free version. The good stuff is hidden behind a rather expensive subscription wall.
